LUNDU: A total of RM9 million has been allocated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg for the Phase Two Road Paving from House to House People’s Project in the Tanjong Datu constituency.

Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan, said the project involves 43 villages and is expected to be completed by July 8, 2025.

“This is in addition to the Phase 1 Road Paving from House to House Project worth RM2 million, which was completed on June 18, 2023,” he said.

He mentioned this during the inauguration ceremony of the People’s Project at Kampung Pugu Lundu recently.

Meanwhile, Azizul also hoped that there would be no discrimination in the project in terms of race, ethnicity, or political differences.

“Newly built or unoccupied houses are all eligible for the house-to-house paving project as long as they are residents of Tanjong Datu,” he said.

Also present were Lundu District Officer Awang Yusuf Awang Mostapha, Lundu District Council secretary Norashikin Brahim, and Lundu District Council deputy chairman, Councillor Abdul Razak Abdul Wahab.
