MIRI: Silamie Gutang from the Philippines and Callum Sean from Malaysia emerged as the Elite Female and Male winners in the recent Spartan Sarawak 2023.
Minister of Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin congratulated the winners and participants for completing the endurance race, which he said was a good platform for individuals worldwide to test their strength, endurance, courage, and determination.
“Completing this race, you have truly proven yourself to be strong, brave, and determined individuals,” he said during the prize presentation ceremony yesterday.
Lee, who is also the Senadin assemblyman, hoped for the participants to continue pushing themselves in all aspects of their lives, highlighting the importance of perseverance and support from those around them.
“You have shown that with hard work, perseverance, and the support of those around you, anything is possible,” he added.
