KUALA LUMPUR: The Football Coaches Association of Malaysia (PJBM) will be organising a Symposium/International Coaching Seminar 2024 in September that will feature a number of international lecturers.
According to a statement from PJBM yesterday, the international lecturers would share knowledge and information about modern coaching methods and techniques.
Harimau Malaya head coach Kim Pan Gon will also be invited to share information and aspects involved in the management of National teams to be successful.
“Our target for the seminar is members from PJBM plus coaches involved in handling their respective teams in the 2024/2025 M-League season,” said PJBM president Datuk Ong Kim Swee who chaired the association’s executive committee meeting on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, PJBM also reminded all coaches involved in the 2024/25 M-League season to renew their coaching licences, namely those involved in the Super League, MFL Cup, Liga M3, Liga M4, President Cup, Youth Cup Liga Perdana Futsal Malaysia (MPFL).
Kim Swee added that PJBM was working towards ensuring the welfare of coaches under its wing and assist coaches who have not been paid salary.
PJBM is also planning to organise the AFC/FAM Diploma ‘B’ coaching course in July and the Futsal Level 1 & 2 Coaching Course in May and June, as well as study the PJBM’s road map. – BERNAMA
