Ali said there were positive indicators among the people of Sarawak who wanted a change in leadership in the state government.

“If PH is capable of forming a new government at the federal level, it is not impossible for the same to happen in Sarawak in the next state election.

Meanwhile, Sri Aman PKR coordinator Norina expressed confidence at capturing Bukit Begunan in the next state election.

Norina said the PKR Sri Aman branch was now ready to face the next state election.

“We are getting ready for it and in terms of machinery, I am confident it is ready to move anytime,” she said.

She explained that despite losing in the 13th and 14th General Elections, she would continue to fight for the rights and needs of the people here.

“I’ve twice contested in the Sri Aman parliamentary constituency and Simanggang state seat but lost in both. I’m not giving up hope yet,” she added.
