KUCHING: A delegation from Persatuan Kayan Sarawak (PKS) Kuching Branch paid a courtesy call on Assistant Minister of Water Supply, Liwan Lagang in his office at Bangunan Pelita, Jalan Bako here, yesterday.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to brief Liwan who is also Belaga Assemblyman on the association’s proposed activities for the year as well as to invite him to attend the association’s dinner at Riverside Majestic Hotel here on 14 October.
Also expected at the dinner will be Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth, and Sports, Datuk Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
The delegation was led by chairperson of the association, Datin Alice Livan Egang and organising chairperson, Usun Stewart Ngau.
