As PDFC advisor, Dr Abdul Rahman said it was a sweet victory in PDFC’s first appearance at the tournament.

“All the players played the game very well and were very disciplined,” he said after the game.

According to him, the success also showed that the Pantai Damai constituency is capable of producing talented young players.

“What’s even sweeter is that there are even players being lured by Kuching FA for the Malaysian League,” he said.
