MUKAH: Politeknik Mukah (PMU) here feted one of its staff members who is on transfer, to a simple reception at the campus today.
Johan Mat who has been with PMU for the last eight years was accorded the fete in appreciation of his contribution and service at the institution.
Heading the Information Technology Unit holding since Sept 10, 2012 he is on a promotional transfer to Politeknik Kuching. He is succeeded by Kessy Enting.
PMU director Dullah Muluk described Johan as a dedicated staff and easy to work with as well as cooperative with other colleagues.
Johan is also capable and experienced in his job while helping PMU to achieve the level it is now, he pointed out.
“We hope that, holding a new post as an information technology officer and working at a new place, he could continue his good work performance,” Dullah said.
He also hoped that Kessy would be able to perform her duty well as a new Information Technology Unit head.
In his brief speech, Johan thanked all PMU staff for their cooperation and support throughout his service here.
Also at the event were PMU deputy director (Academic) Mohd Sani Said and deputy director (Academic Support) Iskandar Reduan.
