MUKAH: Two lecturers from Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) recently attended the Netball Technical Personnel Course at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) Chung Hua No. 6, Kuching.

The lecturers, comprising Mariati Masduki and Rohaliza Karim, attended the course along with 26 other officers from various districts in Sarawak.

“This course, guided by three instructors from the Malaysian Netball Association, aims to equip technical personnel from Sarawak with various technical skills for their duties in the upcoming Malaysia Games (SUKMA) XXI from August 14 to 24.

“Therefore, the presence of these PMU lecturers is to enhance knowledge and skills in netball in preparation for offering the MPU 24031 course in the coming semester,” PMU said in a statement today (May29).

The course content included planning and action plans, game rules, competition regulations, and technical regulations, decision-making systems, and the handling of documents and forms.

Additionally, it covered the preparation and arrangement of facilities, equipment and necessities, as well as practical sessions: assimilation of events such as procedures, protocols, and presentations.
