PN appoints 14 state liaison chiefs

KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional (PN) has appointed 14 state liaison committee (BPN) chairmen today including Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as Johor BPN chairman.

Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin in a statement on his Facebook page said all appointments were made by PN chairman after a meeting with PN Supreme Council.

“Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar was selected to head Terengganu BPN, while Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob was appointed as Kelantan BPN chairman.

“International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali as Selangor BPN chairman and Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu as Perak BPN chairman,” he said.

He also said the other appointments were Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor (Kedah BPN chairman), Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor (Sabah), Communications and Multimedia Minister (KKMM) Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah (Pahang) and Negeri Sembilan Bersatu chairman Datuk Eddin Syazlee Shith (Negeri Sembilan).

Apart from that, the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Shabudin Yahaya (Penang), Perlis PAS commissioner Mohd Shukri Ramli (Perlis), Melaka exco, Datuk Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen (Melaka), Sarawak Bersatu chairman, Senator Jaziri Alkaf Abdillah Suffian (Sarawak) and Bersatu organising secretary Datuk Captain (R) Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya (Federal Territory). – Bernama
