KUALA LUMPUR: Perbadanan Nasional Bhd (PNS) has been proactive in preventing the spread of Covid-19 among its employees, tenants and visitors by undertaking disinfection and cleaning activities at its premises at Menara PNS in Bangsar South.

In a statement issued yesterday, PNS said the disinfection and cleaning was undertaken from March 5 to 8.

The agency has also implemented body temperature screening of all employees, tenants and visitors before they are admitted into Menara PNS, while hand sanitisers have also been made available at the building’s two main counters.

Other measures undertaken include the activation of its Crisis Management Team (CMT) in preparedness to deal with the Covid-19 situation.

Similarly, the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) will undertake a thorough disinfection of its headquarters at Menara SSM, Kuala Lumpur Sentral on Sunday.

“In this connection and to ensure an optimum-level of sanitisation, customers are advised not to visit the premises from today (yesterday),” the CCM said in a statement.
