MIRI: When a farmer stumbled up a coffin with a burnt cover on a road in an open area in Kuala Baram here at 10am yesterday he immediately contacted the police.
Follow the call a police team went to the location to investigate.
Miri District Police Chief, ACP Lim Meng Seah when contacted confirmed the discovery of the coffin.
“We found out that the coffin was empty and it was an old one which is believed to have been discarded by the coffin seller,” he said.
The coffin was later moved to the road side to prevent any mishap.
