KUCHING: Padawan Police chief, DSP Merbin ak Lisa led a team of 15 officers and men on a police community servicing programme at 7th Mile Bazaar between 3 pm and 5 pm, yesterday.

Besides meeting the public and talking to them on personal security and getting to know them, police also distributed 200 packets of porridge to the public.

They also distributed calling cards with
information on Padawan police station like phone numbers and addresses.

The porridge was sponsored by Tay Motor Sdn Bhd.

The police also encouraged road users to have a safe trip back to their villages and longhouses due to the long school holidays.
