MIRI: Police arrested three men for allegedly stealing two barrels of diesel from a farm at Jalan Lama Miri-Bintulu.
District deputy police chief Supt Mohd Sabri Zainol said a CID team made the arrest after receiving a report from the farm owner.
It is understood that the farm workers noticed the trio entering the farm and stole the two barrels of fuel on Friday night.
All the suspects aged between 19 and 24, were arrested around 3 pm at separate locations in Niah last Saturday (June 5).
The case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code for theft.
