KOTA SAMARAHAN: Police arrested a 23-year-old man with six prior records related to drugs after he was found with 12 grams of drugs worth RM1,320 here on Sunday (Sept 29).
According to Kota Samarahan police chief DSP Jaimi Husin, the suspect was arrested at 2 pm after he was spotted acting suspiciously in a car at the roadside of Kampung Tanah Putih.
“Upon inspection, police found a transparent plastic packet containing a substance suspected to be Syabu drugs, stored in a bag carried by the suspect,” he said in a statement today.
Jaimi also said the suspect tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
“The suspect is being investigated under Section 39A (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, and he has been remanded for further investigation,” he said.
