DALAT: A team of police did a community policing walkabout, meeting residents in town recently.

Through the ‘High Profile Policing and Talk To Us’ programme organised by Dalat district police headquarters (IPD), the police team were patrolling by foot in the concept of ‘Stop and Talk’ or ‘Meet and Greet’ to obtain information from traders and the general public.

At the same time, they also advised traders and the public to be more aware of crime trends occurring in their area and to enhance the security features of their respective business premises.

Among the information provided were on love scams, Macau scams and fraud via mobile phones, internet and social media applications such as Facebook.

The walkabout started from 11.30am until 2.30pm.
