KUCHING: A 27-year-old man who is undergoing police training in Johor and was back in Kuching for a week’s holiday was nabbed for stealing a pair of sunglasses left by a complainant on a counter at 4.05pm last Monday.
The complainant aged 29 who works in a boutique at The Spring, Jalan Simpang Tiga here discovered that his pair of sunglasses worth RM49 was missing. He then called a security guard to conduct a check on a suspect.
During a search on the suspect from Kpg Sungai Besar, Petra Jaya near here, the security guard found the missing pair of sunglasses with him.
The suspect was then put under arrest. He was supposed to return to Johor on 15 April.
He is being detained for further investigation.
