KUCHING: Political parties hold the responsibility to boost the voters’ turnout for the upcoming polling day of 15th general election on November 19.

Political analyst Dick Lembang Dugun said any candidates or political parties must come out with political narrative that can boost the voters to turn out to cast votes.

“During their campaign of these two weeks, they should take the chance and make the voters excited and look forward to turn up for voting.

“Create wow factors during campaigning to ensure it can attract voters’ turn up to vote,” he said when contacted by New Sarawak Tribune today.

He said personally, he hoped the voters take the opportunity given to vote which it our rights as registered voters to turn up for voting every election.

“So use it wisely, choose the right one.

“Thus, personally I think the percentage of voters turn up will be similar to last GE14, but it will depend on how the candidates and political party that can attract the voters to turn out to cast their votes,” he said.
