KUCHING: Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian has advised Sarawakians to anticipate a possible increase in Covid-19 cases following contact tracing and test results coming within the next few days.
“Zero new cases today, but beware of the contact tracing and testing results coming in the next few days,” he said in a Facebook post today.
He stressed that it was not just absolute numbers.
“Each and every one of us must continue to come together in the spirit of Sarawak solidarity — to do our part to fight the Covid-19 pandemic crisis that you and I face for the first time in our lifetime,” he said.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement said there were no new positive Covid-19 cases today, with the total number of cases in the state remaining at 549.
