SERIAN: 140 households in Kampung Panchor Dayak and its surrounding areas will be able to enjoy adequate potable water supply next year.

Tarat assemblyman Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn yesterday attended the launch of the Water Supply Grid Project for Kampung Panchor Dayak Serian  officiated by Utilities Minister Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi.

 In his speech, Sagah thanked the state government for the project; Kampung Panchor Dayak is under his constituency.

“We are very fortunate to have leaders who continue to give the best services to the people of Sarawak.

“Therefore, all of us must think and act wisely when choosing our leaders,” he reminded the people.

He also hoped the Utilities Ministry would be able to solve low water pressure issues faced by a few villages near the area.

Also present were Utilities (Water Supply) Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Utilities (Electrical Supply) Assistant Minister Datuk Liwan Lagang, Permanent Secretary Sarawak Utilities Ministry Datuk Ir Alice Jawan and JBALB director Chang Kuet Shian.
