PASC is one of the local participating teams from Kuching alongside Kawaras Swimming Club (Kuching), The Sarawak Club, Kelab Renang Sarakuatik (Kuching) and Dashing Dolphin Swimming Club (Sibu).

A total of 376 swimmers took part in the competition held by PASC and supported by the Sarawak Sports Corporation (SSC).
According to SSC chief executive officer Dr Ong Kong Swee, the meet was meant to provide the opportunity and platform for beginners and junior swimmers to showcase their skills at a suitable competitive environment.
“Apart from that, the two-day event also aimed to identify potential swimmers and recognise high achievers,” he said when speaking at the closing ceremony of the competition at the Pandelela Rinong Aquatic Centre here yesterday.
“Hopefully we will see a much bigger crowd next year,” he added.
