KUCHING: Registration of new students for the May/June 2019 intake is ongoing at Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS) Kuching.
SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply for the wide range of skills programmes such as Graphic Design, Industrial Electronics, Mechanical Draughtsmanship, Mechatronic and Industrial Automation.
Commenting on the ongoing intake, PPKS executive director Hallman Sabri highlighted, “Students who have completed their SPM/SPMV are eligible to enter the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) programme(s).
“Those who wish to enroll in the programme(s), must have completed SKM Level 3 in a related field.”
He said students and parents are assured that PPKS will provide full funding financial assistance (terms and conditions apply) courtesy of Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran (PTPK) as well as the Yayasan Sarawak.
For PPKS Mukah, the July intake is in progress for its Plantation Level 3, Fashion and Design Level(s) 1 and 2, and Computer Systems Level 3 programmes.
