MIRI: Two cars parked by the roadside in a housing area along Jalan Dato Permaisuri 3D here were damaged in a fire this morning.
The incident, involving a Perodua Kancil and a Toyota Corolla, happened around 3.05 am.
Firefighters from Lutong station were dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
Upon arrival, they found the front part of the vehicles was 40 per cent burned. The extinguishing deed was promptly performed using water sourced from their fire truck.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred is yet to be ascertained.
