KUCHING: A pregnant woman was lucky to escape from serious injuries after getting into an accident along Jalan Santubong yesterday morning.
The woman was stuck in her car after losing control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree at about 7am.
Firemen were then despatched to the scene to provide assistance to the woman who was found to be in a semi-conscious state.
After cutting open her car door, the woman was rushed to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for a medical check-up. She was warded for further examination.
Meanwhile, the victim’s car was badly damaged with its windscreen shattering due to the impact.
