KUCHING: A 25 year-old pregnant woman was admitted to the red zone at the Sarawak General Hospital for observation after a car she was in went out of control and collided with an oncoming car and a motorcycle yesterday.

The accident occurred along Jalan Sultan Tengah, Petra Jaya at about 12 noon when the woman’s husband lost control of the car causing it to skid to the opposite lane.

The female driver of the other car escaped with minor injuries while her passenger suffered a fractured arm. The motorcyclist, in his 40s, was given outpatient treatment.

All the injured were brought to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment. Both cars and the motorcycle were badly damaged .
