KUCHING: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg broke fast with community leaders and local residents at a ceremony in State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex atrium here, yesterday.
The event, which was attended by about 300 guests, aimed to strengthen good relations between the leaders and the community in attendance.
After breaking their fast, Abang Johari along with other guests performed the Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers.
The prayers was led by state chief Imam Ustaz Datuk Mustapha Kamal Ahmad Fauzi.
Also present were Premier deputies Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian as well as DUN Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar.
