TATAU: Under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, the state government is committed to addressing its people’ needs.

Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee said the government is always prepared to meet public needs through the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) and Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants.

“This shows how caring the government is under the leadership of the Premier towards the needs of the people, as it has allocated RTP and MRP for representatives to provide facilities that are aligned with the local community’s preferences,” he said at the UKAS Bersama Komuniti Program @ Kuala Tatau 2024 held at the Kampung Haji Ismail Futsal Court on Saturday.

The programme was officiated by the Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information & UKAS), Datuk Abdullah Saidol.

Themed ‘Nay Bededhon May Menanga Tetaw,’ which means “let’s get together in Kuala Tatau,” the event featured a range of engaging activities and was attended by over 300 residents of Kampung Kuala Tatau and nearby longhouses.
