LIMBANG: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg chaired the State Development Coordination Committee Meeting (SDCCM) Bil 1, 2024, here today.

Among matters discussed were the performances of projects implementation, especially in Limbang division.

Five ministries and one agency were involved, namely Ministry of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government (MPHLG), Ministry of Infrastructure and Port Development (MIPD), Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication (MUT), Ministry of Urban Development and Natural Resources (MUDeNR), Ministry of Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development (M-FICORD), and the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA).

In the afternoon, Abang Johari is scheduled to visit several project sites, including the Limbang River Bridge, Bunut River Bridge No 2, Rangau Affordable Housing Programme (RMM), Limbang Integrated Administration Complex (IAC), and the Limbang River Embankment Project.

Present at the meeting were Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan  and Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, Minister in the Premier’s Department Datuk Seri John Sikie Tayai, MUT Minister Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi, State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, State Financial Secretary Datuk Seri Dr Wan Lizozman Wan Omar, and State Attorney General Datuk Saferi Ali.

Others present were Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, M-FICORD Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Deputy Minister in Premier’s Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring) Datuk Gerawat Gala, Chief political secretary to the Premier Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, Lawas MP Datuk Henry Sum Agong and Deputy State Secretary (Operation) Datuk Hii Chang Kee.
