LAWAS: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg chaired the State Development Coordination Committee Meeting (SDCCM) here on today (May 27).
Among matters discussed at the meeting were the performances of projects implementation, especially in Limbang division.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Transport Malaysia; State Implementation Monitoring Unit (SIMU); Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA); Ministry of Infrastructure and Port Development; Ministry of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government; Ministry of Utility and Communications, and Ministry of Urban Development Natural Resources.
Present were Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian; State Legislative Assembly (DUN) speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar; Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah; Minister for Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom; Minister for Women, Children, and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah; Minister for Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin; Minister in the Premier’s Department Datuk John Sikie Tayai; Minister for Utility and Communication Datuk Julaihi Narawi and State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.
Also present were Federal Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Hasbi Habibollah; Deputy Minister for Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail; Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Port Development Aidel Lariwoo; Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department Datuk Gerawat Gala, Lawas MP Datuk Henry Sum Agon; Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang, chief Political Secretary to the Premier Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman and other dignitaries.
After the meeting, the Premier visited several development projects sites including Lawas New Iconic Bridge, State Complex (LAOC), and Lawas Hospital.
