KUCHING: The Kaul Mukah Festival is set to take place from April 26 to 30 next week.

Chairman of the Kaul Mukah Festival committee Tan Sri Dr Muhamad Leo Toyad Abdullah said that this year’s festival is expected to be livelier than in previous years due to the lifting of cross-district movement restrictions related to the pandemic.

Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will officiate at the festival on April 29. He paid a courtesy call to Abang Johari at Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday.

The festival will feature various activities, including the beauty pageant competition known as ‘Teluwaih Jinih‘.
