POLAND: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg continued his official working visit to the Solaris Bus factory in Poland, today (Apr 25).
According to a news report by TVS, he was accompanied by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.
The visit to Solaris Bus demonstrates Sarawak’s continued commitment to providing sustainable public transportation services.
Solaris Bus, a leading bus manufacturer in Europe, is renowned for its innovative approach to producing emission-free vehicles, including electric and hydrogen buses.
Highlights of the visit included discussions on Solaris Bus operations in creating eco-friendly public transportation networks and observing the installation of electric and hydrogen buses.
Solaris buses are manufactured entirely at the production facility in Poland, covering every stage from initial concept and design to manufacturing.
