MIRI: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, wrapped up their two-day festive visits at several Chinese New Year open houses here today (Feb 13).
The couple, along with their delegation, began the day by visiting the seafood restaurant Dragon Seafood, owned by prominent businessman Chung Tai Yu, in Bakam.
They were greeted at Dragon Seafood by Chung and his family upon their arrival at approximately 10.45 am.
At the restaurant, which lasted about an hour, Abang Johari, Juma’ani, and their guests enjoyed lunch before departing for Sibu.
The visiting party included Minister for Transport Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, Minister for Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Julaihi Narawi, and Deputy Minister for Youth Sport and Entrepreneur Development II (Entrepreneur Development) Datuk Dr. Ripin Lamat.
