KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) members of parliament expressed gratitude towards Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg for his consistent guidance and confidence during parliamentary sessions.
This sentiment was shared by Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, in a statement today.
“As a representative from Sarawak, I congratulate and extend my heartfelt thanks to YAB Premier Datuk Patinggi Abang Jo,” Nancy said during an interview after the parliament session yesterday.
She stressed that the Premier has successfully led Sarawak on the best path forward.
In relation to her ministry, Nancy reassured that Sarawak is not being left behind in receiving allocations for development and various programmes for the state.
“So far, through the Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, we have allocated a total of RM215,297,072.67 to Sarawak in various forms of development programmes,” she added.
She took the opportunity to express her best wishes and hopes for Sarawak’s continuous progress and rapid development under Abang Johari’s leadership.
