KUCHING: Chief Minister’s wife Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang yesterday received a courtesy call from the state Prison Department at Wisma Sultan Tengah here.
The visit was intended to introduce the department’s new director Mohammad Rosidek Musa, who has took over the duties on September 17.
During the event, Juma’ani, who is also the patron of ‘Inovasi Warisan Sarawak: Songket dan Keringkam’ project, was briefed on the socio-welfare activities in the prisons, especially related to the project.
Also present was state Prison deputy director Fathi Mursidi.
