KUCHING: The Project of Dreams Realised (Pro-DR) roadshow is back and will be held at 12 selected locations from July 24 to Aug 18.
The education roadshow is organised by the state government through Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS) in collaboration with the State Education Department and Social Security Organisation (PERKESO).
It will begin in Lundu followed by Padawan, Serian, Saratok, Meradong, Kapit, Tanjung Manis, Semop, Mukah, Bintulu, Miri and Lawas.
“The objective of this roadshow is to provide information about educational opportunities to residents especially for students and youths. It is targeting to reach as many Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) graduates as possible to encourage them to further their studies.
“In addition to this, PERKESO will hold open interviews and a job opportunity exhibition through MyFutureJobs for the public,” TEGAS said in a statement today.
The roadshow will incorporate activities such as the FutureTech exhibition, motivational talks, mini food fair, cooking and baking competition, singing and e-sport competition as well as lucky draws for participants.
The respective location’s district education office will also hold SPM preparation talks for students.
TEGAS invited the public to participate in the various activities during the roadshow.
