DALAT: Several major projects to be implemented in Dalat and Oya this year will be game changers in these two areas, said Minister for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah.

“In Dalat, we will implement a boutique hotel with 36 rooms and other facilities such as supermarkets and banking services.

“Meanwhile, for the Oya area, we will create an Oya Commercial Centre to give local people the opportunity to have stalls for the purpose of buying and selling,” she said.

She said this during a cheque presentation ceremony for minor rural projects (MRP) under the Dalat constituency recently.

Fatimah, who is Dalat assemblywoman, said the projects would help improve the standard of living of local residents.

In this regard, she hoped that these planned projects would be implemented smoothly.

During the event, she presented cheques amounting to RM 256,000 to finance 14 projects under the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) in Dalat District.
