SERIAN: A total of four projects totalling RM900,000 will be implemented in several areas here.
These projects, overseen by the Serian Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) are integral components of the 29 initiatives underway in the Bukit Semuja area.
Assemblyman John Ilus oversaw the project handover session under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) 2023 for the Bukit Semuja constituency on Tuesday (Mar 19).
The allocation will be used to fuel various infrastructure projects, with RM500,000 earmarked specifically for the construction of a drainage system in Kampung Hulu.
Additionally, RM150,000 each has been allocated for the development of new agricultural roads in Kampung Koran Mawang and Kampung Tangga Mawang.
Moreover, RM100,000 has been set aside to improve the football field in Kampung Bedup Sungai Buluh.
