KUCHING: The Mini Rural Project (MRP) will continue to provide funds to both Muslim and non-Muslim religious bodies according to their specific needs and requirements.
Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap said the grant would help the association organise more community and welfare activities.
He also committed to promoting religious harmony as a foundation of tolerance, mutual respect, shared values and cooperation.
“When people come together, they can learn from one another and develop a deeper understanding of diversity, leading to a more inclusive and equitable society,” he said when presented MRP grant of RM20,000 to the Kuching Hakka Christian Association here today (May 28).
