KUCHING: Two senior police officers in the Sarawak Police Contingent have been promoted to the ranks of superintendent and assistant commissioner of police (ACP).
DSP Sudirman Kram, the Samarahan district police chief, has been promoted to Superintendent of Administration of the Sarawak contingent.
His predecessor Supt. James Jonathan, who was in charge of administration, was promoted to ACP and is now the contingent’s Administrative Staff Officer.
Sarawak Commissioner Police Datuk Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapri pinned the ranks on them at a ceremony held at the contingent’s headquarters, today.
Also present were Deputy Commissioner of Police Datuk Mancha Ata, Management Department chief SAC Gilbert Philip Layang, Criminal Investigation Department chief SAC Lukas Aket and Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief SAC Wong Ing Fung.
