SIBU: Being a Malaysian means growing up and living in a multiracial country but despite the differences, all races live in harmony and embrace each other’s culture, said Kapitan Connie Loh.
“As a Malaysian, I am proud most of us are multilingual and can speak at least three languages.
“Malaysia is also a country where one can experience a multitude of cultural celebrations and festivals as well as good food all year round,” she told New Sarawak Tribune yesterday.
According to Loh, Malaysia is a beautiful country with diverse natural attractions which makes it a perfect destination for tourists.
“It has a lot to offer and plenty of potentials for growth and development.”
Loh continued, “What makes us so unique as Malaysians is our strong sense of unity. We all live in harmony despite our diverse backgrounds.
“We should continue to be united because together we stand strong.
“I am proud of Malaysia and love this country!!!”
