BINTULU: Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) is optimistic it will be able to defend all of its 11   seats in the upcoming state election.

Its president, Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing said, “I see the people’s support for PRS and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) increasing and improving.

He added that the party did not have any internal issues that could cause the people to lose faith.

“We will defend all our state seats,” he said at Majlis Mesra Rakyat at Rumah Engkabang Anggang, Mile 14 Jalan Bintulu-Miri, last Friday.

In the last state polls, PRS won all 11 seats contested, namely Baleh, Murum, Belaga, Pelagus, Ngemah, Kakus, Tamin, Samalaju, Batang Ai, Balai Ringin and Bukit Begunan.
