BINTULU: Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) does not resort to backstabbing but takes a face-to-face approach in the event of conflict among its leaders and members.
Likewise PRS is a party of comrades dedicated to cooperation in Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), declared its president Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum.
“We will not betray our friends and we will do nothing to harm anyone or anything that is not ours.
“But on the other hand, we will try to fight to the death if there is a party that interferes with the well-being of our party.”
Salang was speaking at the Ngiling Tikai Gawai Dayak 2024 ceremony at Rumah Lichong Along, Sungai Sebutin, Tubau, on Sunday.
He reiterated that PRS is a rural-based party that places its interests and struggles with the ruling GPS coalition in the state.
Also present were Belaga assemblyman cum Deputy Digital Minister, Deputy Minister of Utilities and Telecommunications (Telecommunications), Datuk Liwan Lagang, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Investment cum Batang Ai assemblyman, Datuk Malcom Mussen Lamoh, Murum Kennedy assemblyman Chukpai Ugon and Bintulu Division Resident Nyurak Keti.
