KUCHING: The public is advised to remain vigilant against impersonators using the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department’s (JBALB) name and logo for fraudulent purposes.
This warning came after JBALB Sarawak received a complaint about an impersonator submitted a fake letter with its name and logo offering to supply goods for the renovation of the JBALB Baram/Marudi District office in Miri.
“The department takes the matter on the pretext of using the name JBALB Sarawak for any purpose whatsoever very seriously.
“Therefore, a police report has been made for further action by the authorities,” the department said
Before making any transactions, individuals should seek confirmation from JBALB if they come across any individual, company, or business using the JBALB Sarawak name.
