KUCHING: Those who have yet to receive their vaccine shots are encouraged to do so as there will be a mobile vaccination programme at the Sungai Apong Basketball Court and Kenyalang Theatre starting Aug 11.
For the mobile vaccination at Sungai Apong Basketball Court, it will begin on Aug 11 from 8am to 1pm, while the one near the Kenyalang Theatre will begin on Aug 14 from 8am to 1pm.
Sarawak United People’s Party Women chief Kho Teck Wan said the mobile vaccination programme was organised by the health authorities; Tanah Puteh Clinic; Village Development and Security Committee of Sungai Apong, Sungai Apong Baru, Kenyalang Park, non-governmental organisation — Kuching Nature and Culture Association, as well as Kuching City South Council.
“Last weekend, we targeted 50 people, but 180 people turned up. So, there is no limit for this upcoming mobile vaccination programme.
“Those aged 18 and above who have yet to get their vaccination can just walk-in,” she said on Monday (Aug 9).
