SIBU: Pusaka Negeri Sarawak (PNS) Sibu is set to host an exciting cosplay contest during the upcoming Pustaka Book Fair on Aug 5 and 6, from 10am to 1pm.
The contest aims to inspire individuals to showcase their passion and unleash their creativity by cosplaying as their favourite characters.
Divided into two groups, the adult category will compete on Aug 5 while the children category will take the stage on Aug 6.
The age range for the adult category is 13 to 35 years old while the children category is open to participants aged five to 12 years old, with each category having a limit of 30 participants.
Registration for the contest is absolutely free and can be completed by scanning the QR Code featured on PNS Sibu’s advertisement poster.
Participants will have a unique opportunity to meet and impress the judges, John Lam and Koala, who are renowned cosplayers in the community.
“Winners will be rewarded handsomely. The closing date for registration is July 28,” stated a press release on Monday (July 24).
