KUCHING: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak organised Knowledge Camp 2018 on Sunday by exposing the participants with various fun and interactive scientific activities.
Themed ‘Make Science Fun’, the two-day program aimed to promote reading habits among young participants in line with Pustaka Negeri Sarawak reading campaigns initiative.
The Knowledge Camp 2018 also aimed to expose the library as one of information and reference centres. Present to officiate the camp closing ceremony was Pustaka Chief Executive Officer Arpah Adenan. He also handed over the participation certificates and prizes to the participants.
During the event, the children were exposed with activities that lead to the development of information-seeking skills and excellence in learning, through fun learning environment and recreational activities.
Besides that, participants were also exposed to information seeking and technique as well as learning method. The next edition of Knowledge Camp will be held Sibu next year.
