KUCHING: The Sarawak State Library (Pustaka Negeri Sarawak) will host its virtual Chairman’s Annual Address tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.
Pustaka Sarawak board of management chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Hamid Bugo will be giving the annual address 2021 on its Pustaka’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
“The annual programme aims to introduce the numerous services provided by Pustaka Sarawak by using different promotion strategies creatively and innovatively. Pustaka Sarawak also provides various facilities that are relevant to technological advancement.
“Besides the chairman’s annual address 2021, the tentative program also includes a session on the recollection of main activities in 2020, the introduction of ‘the Depository Service Sector: Sarawakian Section, Records Management Section Archive Management Sector as well as a video showcase of services provided by Pustaka Sarawak,” it said.
It also said that two books titled ‘Garis Panduan Pengurusan Rekod dan Arkib untuk Jabatan dan Agensi Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak’ (Records and Archive Management Guidelines for Sarawak State Government Departments and Agencies) and Heritage Matters: Local Content Documentation will be launched on the same day.
“Pustaka Sarawak will also organise ‘Hari Bersama Pelanggan’ (Day With Customer) on the 19th February at 9am which is in conjunction with the Chairman’s Annual Address programme.
