MIRI: The Miri branch of Sarawak State Library (Pustaka Miri) is now using the e-Booking system for the rental of its facilities which began January 1 this year.
Following the new system, Pustaka will no longer use the manual booking system.
The initiative is carried out to encourage the public to support government online basis while maintaining the quality of services and provide convenience for both the public and staff.
For members of the public who wish to utilise the facilities through the e-Booking system, they would have to create an online Sarawak ID account, or they could sign in as a guest and provide the necessary details when prompted.
When confirmation is received by the staff regarding the rental of the facilities, they can then make payment by cash or e-wallet, Sarawak Pay.
Despite the discontinuation of manual booking, the public can still arrange for a meeting appointment to check on the conditions of the facilities and equipment before making any confirmation.
