KUCHING: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak is organising a short smartphone video competition, a sketches competition, and a historical research writing competition in conjunction with Sarawak Day 2020 celebration.
The theme of the competitions which will be from July 26 until Aug 23 this year is ‘Sarawak Excellence 2020’ (Sarawak Cemerlang 2020).
For the short video competition, each participant must use a smartphone to produce a short video on Sarawak’s excellent performances at the national and international levels.
“The content of the video must focus on one area of interest or field, for example, education or sports or gaming or art and others.
“The video must be sent in an MP4 or AVI format to videosingkatpustakanegeri2020@gmail.com. Entry is free. The competition is from July 30 to Aug 23, 2020,” Pustaka Negeri Sarawak said in a press release issued last Sunday.
For the sketches and historical research writing competitions, the entries must be submitted from July 26 till Aug 23 and August 1 to August 31 respectively.
The sketches must portray Sarawak’s outstanding achievements.
All Malaysians residing in Sarawak are encouraged to join the contests. Grand prizes up for grabs include Huawei Matebook 13 Touch Screen, Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite8 and Macbook Air (13 inch).
