KUCHING: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak (Sarawak Library) will hold a virtual k@Borneo Conference on Sept 14 and 15.
k@Borneo is a collaborative effort to identify and preserve Borneo materials with institutions from three countries in the Borneo archipelago, namely Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
“It is a platform for researchers and scientists to interact with other researchers, exchange ideas, information and knowledge in the field of Borneo studies.
“Themed ‘Borneo: Diversity of Information & Heritage,’ the topics cover various disciplines related to themes and sub-themes, namely traditional knowledge, arts and cultural diversity, medicinal plants, and environmental sustainability,” said Pustaka.
“Those who are interested in joining the virtual conference can register at the official website www.pustaka- sarawak.com/apps/ikbc2021/ and will receive Zoom Meet ID information and passcode. Participation is free.
“Nonetheless, recordings of the conference can also be viewed on our official YouTube Pustaka Channel (Pustaka Sarawak).
