MIRI: A one-meter-long python sparked panic in Jalan Kampung Tudan as it slithered near a local resident’s chicken pen in the wee hours this morning.
The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) swiftly responded to a distressed call at 2.53 am from the house owner, aged 43, who reported unusual noises coming from the pen situated behind his residence.
Upon investigation, the homeowner stumbled upon the snake, lurking around the enclosure.
Fortunately, no chickens were reported missing.
APM captured the python with specialise tools.
